When in doubt

Decision making tree from Andy G's blog

I doubt a lot. I think most of us do. But there are also a lot of things I rarely doubt, why I feel confused and drained when I do. I sometimes view life as a long line of decisions; small ones and big ones. Those days I also think it would be helpful with a decision making tree like those for mushrooms. To be able to sort out whether they are poisonous or not. Decision making trees for mushrooms are a great comfort when you are out in the forest, however not as efficient when you are trying to create something you have dreamed about. For me the doubt comes with the vulnerability when I expose myself. And if I followed my doubts, believe me, I wouldn't do anything... My husband mentioned the cockroach method, which means to just continue working. When in doubt, just continue. It makes sense, since one, when it comes to dreams, shouldn't stop until finding a very good reason for stopping. Well, the cockroaches should know. They have survived ice age without a decision making tree. Or maybe they just avoided eating mushrooms.
