Through the valleys and over the marshland

And then we drove to the North. To the mountains and the bright nights. Where the weather wasn't at all constantly sunny, but therefore also gave som character to the landscape. Even though the showers were fairly light they sometimes became hail. And since then the sun sometimes presented itself between the scattered clouds, the winds were easier forgiven. We slept close to the lake and heard three cuckoos singing. They sang all night. As did the light rain. And we hiked through the valleys, over the marshland, on the mountain plateaus and had our tea strong and sweet with stunning views. The very last day we hiked to a summit and while starting the descent, the winds grew into gale force strength and we had to parry every gust until we found shelter in the birch woods. We drove to the North. And then we drove back. Wondering how to bring the mountains and the bright nights with us.
