By the tree, close to the river

“Go on until you come to the end; then stop.”

We began where it all ended and now we stop at a completely different place. All dreams have to be woken up from and a dive can only last as long as one is able to breathe. There is a sadness in all ascents and a melancholy in the lives one cannot live. Following the White Rabbit to the bottom of the rabbit hole affects ones imaginations and bends the perspective of reality in a refreshing way. And as long as I stay friends with the Mad Hatter we are an excellent trio down there. Making magic even more magical.

“Well, now that we have seen each other," said the unicorn, "if you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you.”

And by the tree close to the river-like mist, at the depth of 25 metres or so, there is a friendly branch looking excellent for a rest while watching the mist passing by, thinking that one can never swim in the same river twice. Nor in the same cenote. They will always change due to weather, conditions or ones own state of mind. However, for your information, a tree branch is not at all a good place for an under-water rest. It is rather difficult to sit there, looking all peaceful and as if you carried the secrets of life in your bubbles. You need a patient photographer who finds the right angles and exact amount of light and a clear-minded assistant organising arms, legs and fins. One can bring a bright idea down there, but Wonderland is the upside down world and ideas tend to not become what one expect.

“Contrary-wise,' continued Tweedledee, 'if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.”

And we say goodbye. Not really by the tree close to the river, since it would be rather unpractical. But imagine the story anyway; They shook hands and said: "Lovely meeting you down here, take care and all the best!", before they swam in different directions. And for Alice it was time to get back to the garden, from where she first fell down into the rabbit-hole...
