Sometimes the most important thing is to dance in a tutu skirt

A museum in Stockholm is now exhibiting photos from a project where young people with Down's syndrome are portrayed within their own dreams. As a queen, Greta Garbo or Leo and Kate in the front of Titanic. Or as a dancer, a bride, a super hero or Barbie. The exhibition made clear that we do have a rigid opinion of the roles we take on in a society. We put so many limitations in place for ourselves and other people, when it should be every persons right to become the best version of oneself. Being greedy, unsupportive, negative and grudging is a successful way of minimizing and close down the extraordinary within each other. The more generous we are, the better world we get. And sometimes the most important thing is to dance in a tutu skirt.
