Peacefully and grandly

To find a church is definitely a contradiction. The point with the church, as I view it, is that it exists everywhere. One doesn't need a building and one doesn't need a place. Just other people and some kind of shared purpose. However, that is not how it feels in reality. Because if you want to feel connected to a group and belong to a context, you need to find a place where you feel safe and good. So I am now trying to find a new church. That takes time if one wants to do it systematically, however, I think I have found it. I just melted in the embrace of a five choir concert last weekend, where there were beautiful voices singing from every corner, peacefully and grandly bringing hope and light to the winter darkness. I have been back since. Twice. I think I have found it. A church. That can be mine.
