A year of adventures, endings and new beginnings

A pic per month, this very strange year of 2016. A year of adventures, endings and new beginnings. Where we found a new Wonderland in the Mexican cenotes, a lost heart and a hidden treasure with mountains and waterfalls on New Zealand, said goodbye to new friends and reconnected with old ones. We swam with humpbacks, mantas, whale sharks and each other. And we started fresh in Stockholm, where everything was weirdly new and familiar at the same time. 

During this year I have learned to continue working when I am in doubt and that pain does pass if I just ride it out. I figured it was wonderful to travel by myself, I learned about the things one can do in 30 days and I found new friends just before I had to hug them goodbye. 

I realised that starting a business isn't at all as challenging as writing a blog in English, creating network meetings or thinking about singing in a new choir. The most vulnerable and challenging things will always be when I do expose myself. And at the end of the day, those are also the things that will bring the most value to my life.

2016 was a year when dreams came true and disappointments hit badly. A year when the world was the most beautiful place and the scariest at the same time. I don't assume that 2017 will be a better year for the world, we can just contribute with our parts. And continue living and not letting fear or insecurity be a valid reason for not doing what we believe in.
